Project: Sony Ericson Cell Phone: Carbon
Fiber Vinyl Faceplate Install. If we can
do it, you can do it yourself too.
Give your mobile phone the carbon fiber look. Its easy to install and
very affordable.
NOTE: Might not be applicable for all phones. Perform at your own risk, we
are not liable for any damages or injury incurred. Safety first!
Supplies Needed: Carbon Fiber Vinyl Sheet, Heat Gun, Water & Soap Solution, Scissor, X-Acto Knife/Razor Set
Cut vinyl to shape.Clean the area to be installed. Wet faceplate surface and sticky side of vinyl then apply to surface.
Underside view. Use X-Acto knife to cut through the keypad holes. Use the heat gun to seal and wrap the edges. Make sure no water is trap underneath the vinyl.
The final product! Looks so much better than stock!
